Joseph Iorillo is a freelance writer living in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. He is a summa cum laude graduate of John Carroll University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Since 2000, Joseph has been a feature writer for Dark Realms Magazine, contributing numerous articles on topics as diverse as secret societies, ancient Sumeria, horror cinema, haunted houses and theories of the afterlife. In addition, he has contributed short stories to the series, Tales From the Dark Tower and Beyond The Dark Tower, and has written the foreward and commentary for Born of the Night: The Gothic Fantasy Artwork of Joseph Vargo. He has also co-authored The Gothic Tarot Compendium, a guidebook to Joseph Vargo's bestselling tarot deck. Mr. Iorillo has also written several contemporary mystery and suspense novels, his latest project being the psychological thriller, This House Is Empty Now. He holds a lifelong interest in the esoteric mysteries of the world as well as all things supernatural.
